He has been pulling us closer, revealing areas that need His touch, and showing us that there is a difference between knowing who we are and fully walking in who He created us to be.

The truth is, there are times when the greatest obstacle to God's will is not the enemy, but the things we refuse to place in God's hands. Our plans, our fears, our expectations, our disappointments, and even our own understanding can keep us from fully embracing the life God has prepared for us. Surrender is not about losing ourselves. It is about trusting God enough to become who He has always intended us to be.
